Members of St. Matthew's work and volunteer in every aspect of our community life. We host Weekday Bible School for the public schools and make our meeting rooms open to many groups.

One of our keystones of community work is our REPRESENTATIVE PAYEE PROGRAM.

The Payee Program at St Matthew's was started in 1997. It has grown from its small beginning to serving 100 plus beneficiaries of Social Security and/or Supplemental Security Security benefits.  Federal law requires some people who receive these benefits due to a mental or physical disability to have a responsible agent manage their finances.  If the beneficiary does not have a capable friend or family member, Our trained volunteers (we have over twenty now) handle weekly contacts, pay their bills on time and make certain they have money for food and miscellaneous for the remainder of the week.  All at no cost to the beneficiary!
